I believe quality mental health care begins with understanding the whole person. Every individual has a unique history, life experiences, strengths, challenges, and goals. My approach to psychiatric care is centered on listening, building trust, and developing individualized treatment plans that respect each person’s needs and circumstances.
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care to individuals across the lifespan. My practice includes comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, psychopharmacology, medication management, and therapeutic interventions. I take a holistic approach to care, recognizing that mental health is influenced by biological, emotional, social, and environmental factors.
A Collaborative Approach to Care
I believe clients should have an active voice in their treatment. Whenever possible, I work collaboratively with individuals and their families to establish meaningful goals, discuss treatment options, and develop practical strategies for managing symptoms and improving daily functioning.
Whether someone is seeking help for the first time, navigating a life transition, managing a chronic mental health condition, or looking for a different approach to treatment, my goal is to provide care that is compassionate, individualized, and grounded in respect.
You deserve to be understood, heard, and supported.
Honoring who you are—not asking you to become someone you are not.
Neurodivergent-Affirming Care
I am committed to providing neurodivergent-affirming care that recognizes and respects the unique ways individuals experience, process, communicate, and interact with the world.
I work with neurodivergent children, adolescents, and adults, including individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental differences. Rather than focusing solely on deficits or trying to make individuals conform to a particular standard, I strive to understand their strengths, needs, communication styles, sensory experiences, and personal goals.
When medication is appropriate, I consider the individual’s complete clinical presentation, co-occurring conditions, treatment history, sensitivities, and personal preferences. Treatment decisions are made collaboratively whenever possible.
My goal is to create a safe, supportive, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and valued. I believe effective mental health care should help individuals understand themselves, manage symptoms, build confidence, and improve their quality of life while honoring who they are.
